Social Media Platforms
CTMS understands that “Social media platforms have emerged as a significant medium for
disseminating news, advocating for ideas, endorsing products or services, and establishing both
social and professional connections (Ohara, 2023).” It is for this reason, we have dedicated more
time and energy to use social media to showcase our STEM celebrations, showcases,
activities and parent resources.
Faculty & Staff Professional Learning
At Champion we understand the importance of providing our faculty/staff, scholars and parents
access to our teaching and learning programs and initiatives. Specifically with our teachers, it is
necessary that they are given consistent opportunities each school year to learn how to
effectively plan, implement and monitor STEM. Consequently, there are intentional professional
learning and development embedded in our district, local school calendar as well as statewide
professional development afforded through Title 1 funds.
